Habitat for Humanity Panel Build 2024.

Catholic Circle of Faith will build a three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch style home at 2348 Dean Ave, Des Moines. The home will be purchased with an affordable mortgage by one of the families in the homeownership program, Nazret and her family. We will be building Nazret's home this summer through the fall.

Below are the volunteer opportunities for the house this summer. The volunteer day is 8:15 am-4 pm Wednesday-Friday. Our Saturday shifts are 8:15 am-1 pm.

Join Catholic Circle of Faith and Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity to build the walls to our Catholic Circle of Faith home in just one day on

Friday, June 27

Ss. John and Paul Parish is excited to host this build in our north parking lot (by the Faith Development Center). We will have a lunch break, with lunch provided by Ss. John & Paul. Volunteers are needed and must be 16+ to participate. The registration link is below. Here are the positions needed:

Setup & Cut Crew (7:00-8:00 am): this shift will help set up for the panel build and begin cutting walls for the build. Hard hats & safety glasses must be worn for this build.  

Wall Builders (8:00 am-2:00 pm): this shift will complete the walls and clean up, which may include the use of various tools such as saws, routers, and hammers. Hard hats & safety glasses must be worn for this build. This shift will also pick up tools, debris, and building materials and help load the truck.  

Please follow 2 step process to register:

STEP 1: Complete the Waiver

• Click on the registration link
• Enter First Name and Email address.
• Complete waiver information

STEP 2: Select a Shift to Volunteer

• Once you have completed the waiver it will take you to the Catholic Circle of Faith panel build page.  
• Once you have selected a shift(s) and clicked the Sign Up to Volunteer button at the bottom of the page, you should receive an email with the date and time.
