Marriage
Preparation is required for anyone who wishes to be married in the Catholic Church. Marriage, like all of the other Sacraments, is celebrated within the context of the Parish Community. One of the couple needs to be registered and engaged in the life of Ss. John and Paul Parish. Adult children of current parishioners who desire to return to their "home" parish for their wedding are also welcome, but at least one of the couple must be practicing their Catholic faith and be registered and active their Catholic Parish.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Matrimony needs to begin at least 9 months before the anticipated wedding date and preparation for marriage must begin before a wedding date can be scheduled.
