Ss. John and Paul Church, Altoona, seeks a part-time Director of Music. This position selects music for liturgies, including funerals and weddings, recruits, trains, and schedules musicians. Collaborates with pastor and other staff for planning of Holy Week, Christmas and other holy day liturgies, as well as acts as a resource for faith formation events and sacramental celebrations
Bachelor’s degree in music preferred. Proficiency in music, particularly piano/organ and conducting. It is also highly recommended that the director be proficient in a particular instrument or voice.
