On Sunday, November 2, at the 10:30 am Mass, we will present a memorial cross to the families of those parishioners who have died this past year: Rita Roth, Maurice Hamling, Patrick George, Sr., Kevin Metzger, Diane Holmes, Shawn Mouzakis, Thomas Allen, Joseph Hanchak, Jr., Donald Shaver, Lonnie Majerus and Bonnie Hamling.
Each small cross, with the name of the deceased on it, hangs in the Prayer Room until All Souls Day, a reminder of the continued prayers and support of the parish family. Take a moment to visit the chapel, see the crosses, and pray for those who have died, and for their families.
On All Saints Day, November 1st, we celebrate all the holy people gathered around the throne of God. Since All Saints Day falls on Saturday this year, the obligation to attend Mass is lifted, but all are invited to celebrate this holy day at 9 am Mass on November 1.
On All Souls Day, November 2nd, we remember all our beloved dead. The Commemoration of All Souls will be celebrated at the Saturday vigil Mass on November 1, and the Sunday Masses on November 2.
Find more about All Souls Day under the Links heading.
You are invited to write the names of your loved ones in the Book of the Names of the Dead. The book will be in the gathering space throughout the month of November.
You are also invited to bring in photos of your deceased loved ones. Photos will be displayed on the sanctuary steps throughout the month of November.
