SECOND Reading
Paul teaches that each of us receives the manifestation of the Holy Spirit for some benefit. What gift of the Holy Spirit would friends or family say you possess?
Gospel Reading
The resurrected Jesus sends the disciples forth equipped with the power of the Holy Spirit to forgive or retain sins. Does forgiving others come easily to you?

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
A prayer for those who may wish to, but are unable to receive Communion, for whatever reason.
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
