About the StudyMatthew: The King and His Kingdom is a 24-session study that explores how Jesus fulfills God’s promises to Israel and establishes his kingdom on earth.
The Gospel of Matthew shows Jesus as the true King who fulfills the Law and the promises God made to his people throughout the Old Testament. Through Matthew’s careful references to the prophets, the Law, and the covenants of Israel, this Gospel shows how Christ brings God’s plan of salvation to completion and inaugurates the New Covenant.
Guided by Jeff Cavins, this study will give you a clearer understanding of Christ as the fulfillment of God’s plan and discover what it means to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. -
Registration & Study Materials Options
Choose One or BothPlease register before Monday, August 24 to reserve a workbook at the suggested cost of $40. We'll place a group order, passing along the savings for sales tax and shipping costs. We kindly ask for payment when you pick up your workbook at the first session. The study set does not include the 24/7 access to the videos; if you would like to have access to the videos outside of our class you will need to order that directly through Ascension (see info below).Register for the study here!
Our desire is for everyone who wants to participate in this study to be able to do so. The cost for materials should never stand in the way of spiritual growth and learning. Please contact Vivian to request a scholarship. All requests will be handled confidentially.
The online access option offers 24/7 access to all of the videos and participant workbook for one year. This is a great option if you'd like to do the study on your own or if you'd like to watch the videos again outside of our class time. It does not allow the study workbook or accompanying book to be downloaded or printed.
