Caring Hands Outreach began in 2003 as a community of faith seeking to respond to the needs of people in the Southeast Polk community. Local churches of different denominations, including Ss. John and Paul Parish, partner to develop resources for people in need.

Monday Night Supper Free dinner, served the last Monday of each month at Adventure-Life Church
Thanksgiving & Christmas Family Dinners Served on the Sunday before the holiday
To Get Involved There are many ways to support the activities of Caring Hands Outreach. Cash donations are appreciated, may be earmarked for specific projects and are tax deductible. Food donations for the food pantry are always welcome. Both can be dropped off directly at Ss. John and Paul Catholic Church.
Food Pantryvolunteers stock shelves and interview recipients. Caring Hands Thrift Store volunteers sort and display clothing and household goods. Monday Night Supper and Holiday Dinner volunteers help with food preparation and interact with families.
