Shrove Tuesday started with the burning of the palms in preparation for Ash Wednesday. After celebrating Mass, we gathered for a Mardi Gras celebration including pancake supper and activities for young and old alike. The evening ended with a parade and the burying of the Alleluia to signify the start of Lent.
