Shrove Tuesday & Mardi Gras Celebration

Everyone is invited to our Shrove Tuesday and Mardi Gras celebration on February 17!  Join us for any or all of the activities: the Burning of the Palms for our ashes on Ash Wednesday, Mass, and Fat Tuesday pancake supper. There will be pancakes and the fixings, dessert, activities and door prizes! Fun for the entire family! Your free-will offering will support our youth ministry mission trips this summer.

Schedule for the evening:

• 5:00 pm: Burning of the Palms
• 5:30 pm: Mass
• 6:00-7:00 pm: Mardi Gras Celebration with Pancake supper & Activities
• 7:00 pm: Mardi Gras Parade, Burying the Alleluia & Leave in Silence as We Enter the Season of Lent

Activities at Mardi Gras:

• Door prizes of "great value"
• Decorate a Mardi Gras mask
• Make a family Alleluia banner
• Eat lots of pancakes & ice cream
• Participate in the Mardi Gras parade
